COPA for kids

7/18/2017

COPA for Kids is a national program designed to give an introduction to general aviation to kids aged 8 - 17 years. Participants are given a briefing about how the aircraft operates and then enjoy a local flight of about 20 minutes. Flights are provided free of charge by local pilots in their own aircraft.

The Northwest Territories Floatplane Association/COPA Flight 108 will host its annual COPA for Kids event on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from the Wardair Dock in Yellowknife, NT.  Flights will be scheduled for 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am departures.  All flights will be in floatplanes.  Space is limited so book your child's flight early!  Online registration is required.

For more information concerning the COPA for Kids program, refer to https://www.copanational.org/en/copa-for-kids/.  For information specific to the Yellowknife event, contact Hal Logsdon at 873-5569.
