CJZ9 - la ronge seaplane base (la ronge, SK)
The La Ronge Seaplane Base is a registered water aerodrome operated by Transwest Air in La Ronge, SK. The base is situate on the western shore of Lac la Ronge. Temporary parking for floatplanes is available for the purposes of refuelling. Overnight parking is not available due to space limitations.
Fuel (100LL and Jet-A) is available from Transwest Air (306-425-2382). Pilots are advised to call in advance to ensure availability. Overnight accommodations are available at the Waterbase Inn (306-425-5550) located adjacent to the seaplane base. Other local services include restaurants and aircraft maintenance.
