Each profile consists of a dedicated web page providing aerodrome data, coordinates, site description, anecdotal information and photographs of the enroute stopover. Each profile also includes a pdf download providing all information in a convenient printable format.

CEK7 - FOOTNER LAKE (HIGH LEVEL, ab)

Footner Lake (CEK7) was a water aerodrome situate immediately to the west of the airstrip at High Level, AB (CYOJ). Floatplane parking utilizes a small sandy beach and trucked fuel may be available by call-out.
* As of April 2023, CEK9 is listed in the Canadian Water Aerodrome Supplement as a closed aerodrome and anecdotal reports indicate that fuel may no longer be available on the water at Footner Lake. |

The La Ronge Seaplane Base is operated seasonally by Transwest Air in La Ronge, SK. Temporary parking is available to permit refuelling with JetA or 100LL. Due to space limitations, overnight parking is not available.

CKW5 - Stony rapids seaplane Base (Stony Rapids, SK)

The Stony Rapids Seaplane Base is situate on the Fond du Lac River at the east end of Lake Athabasca near Stony Rapids, SK. The seaplane base is operated seasonally by Transwest Air.
Docks are located on the river near the rapids. River current requires attention during taxiing. Services and facilities include fuel (100LL and Jet-A), washrooms and an air-conditioned lounge. |
