Three Yellowknife planes, with Jeff and Debbie Anderson, Steve and Anna-May St. Amand and their children Cole and Liam, and Jesse and Pat Jasper, flew to Hay River on Sunday, May 22, 2016. They were met and picked up by our Hay River member, Jim Tennant, and went to the Keys Restaurant at the Ptarmigan Inn for lunch. A flight plan was filed and all returned home safely. The annual general meeting of the Northwest Territories Floatplane Association was held on May 28, 2016. The director positions of Treasurer, Secretary and Member-at-Large were due for election. The incumbent of each of these positions was acclaimed for a further two-year term. The 2016/2017 directors are therefore as follows:
